BET is a training provider
for the electrical contracting
industry. We manage apprenticeships
for a wide range of electrical
contractors and provide
on site assessment and
“off the job”
training at our own purpose
built centre or at a local
college on a block release
or day release basis.
Once BET has received
your application form
and pre-interview questionnaire,
providing you are successful
at this stage, we will
arrange an initial assessment
consisting of a key skills
diagnostic. You will also need to present a colour
vision certificate (certain levels
of colour blindness may
render you ineligible
for the electrical industry).
If you are successful
at this stage you will
be invited to attend an
interview with a member of our tutor team.
Once you have satisfied
the BET requirements,
you will need to find
employment with a BET
client company. BET can
assist you in doing this,
however you need to be
pro-active in securing
a job, as you must have
employed status prior
to commencing your apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements
Due to the nature of the Advanced Apprenticeship programme we offer, candidates should ideally hold GCSE grades A*-C (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and Science. Other grades will be assessed on merit, subject to passing the Initial Assessment.
