Welcome to Birmingham Electrical Training

A training provider for the Electrical Industry.

Birmingham Electrical Training is a leading provider of electrical installation training in Birmingham supporting over 300 apprentices, achieving a 73% success rate. We organise apprenticeships with local electrical companies who provide employment and ‘on the job’ training.  ‘Off the job’ training is arranged through our own centre, based in Birmingham, on a block release basis.

Birmingham Electrical Training is registered with City & Guilds to deliver the following courses:-

C&G 2330 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology. This is the recognized theory course for the apprenticeship.

C&G 2356 NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. This requires the completion of Log Books recording the trainees experience and competence, it also incorporates the AM2 assessment.

C&G 3638 Key Skills.
These are also a requirement of the apprenticeship.
Birmingham Electrical Training is licensed to carry out the Achievement Measurement 2 (AM2) Assessment which is carried out at its own centre in Hockley. Therefore the whole ‘Off the Job’ training can be delivered in-house.

FEE PAYING ROUTE Do you have employees who have worked in the electrical industry for many years and want to gain an electrical qualification?  We can facilitate this by offering ‘Block Release’ and ‘Day Release’ on a fee paying basis with easy payment terms.  For further details contact our offices.
