City & Guilds 2919-01 Electric Vehicle Charge Point Installation

Course duration: 2 Days
Cost: £325 + VAT

It is anticipated the use of electric vehicles will increase in the next few years, particularly as performance and capacity of batteries continues to improve.

It is therefore the perfect opportunity for electrical contractors to expand their business and offer additional specialist service and installation of charging sockets to their clients.

Course content

  • Day 1 – classroom based – teaching on the code of practice.
  • Day 2 – online exam (40 questions), Practical Installation followed by Test and Inspection of the installation.

Who should attend

The course will be aimed at experienced electrical installers who have an underpinning knowledge of electrical installations in both commercial and domestic premises.

Entry requirement

Candidates should hold an Electrotechnical NVQ Level 3 and BS 7671 : 2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, C&G 2391 or 2392, 2391-52 and have at least 2 years industry experience.

Assessment

The course includes an online C&G exam together with practical assessments.
